Cleo's French Quarter mediterranean restaurant was downright amazing. The food had so much flavor, and it felt as if it were dancing upon your taste buds. The service was quick and efficient to continue. The ambience was utterly spectacular, it offered a casual dining experience as well as being a high-end restaurant. In short, I would recommend going to Cleo's French Quarter Mediterranean restaurant if you're in the New Orleans area. If you're not New Orleans or the near vicinity, I recommend traveling out of your way to go to Cleo's French Quarter Mediterranean restaurant, it's just that good.

This is the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. I got the vegetarian sampler and the vegetarian moussaka. I could taste the love and care put into each dish. The falafel had an amazing texture and flavor, and the hummus was rich and interesting. It was presented beautifully, and I wish I took a picture before devouring it. The atmosphere was modern and chic, and very pleasant to be in.

We ordered the Sautéed vegetable platter with Basmati rice and the chicken kakab (with pita and humus), They were both delicious and the portions were excellent. The humus was freshly prepared and it was out of this world. This is one of the few where the meat was cooked perfectly, the pieces were succulent. I could cut it with just a fork. The basmati rice was aromatic with saffron. Courteous and professional service with an elegant ambiance. Strongly recommend for good food.

I went with a group of 4 on a Saturday night. It is nice on the inside with lots of seating and cute wallpaper and decorations. A perfect place for dinner or lunch. The wait staff were really nice and were very helpful. The food came out fast and everything was amazing. They were very attentive and were great with my family. 3 of us ordered different types of chicken, all which were good! One person ordered beef which was great as well. The hummus was amazing as well, and so was the rice. The pita was great as well.

At first I didn't know if they were open since no one was up front and the place was empty. But when I walked in a girl came around the corner and immediately sat me. To be honest she seemed more interested in getting back to her conversation behind the wall. She barely said hello, and didn't even ask me if I wanted a drink. So at first I was put off. She came back to take my order but then it made sense. They had a gas leak and can make the food b it it had to go. She was discussing with her manager that there was no done in for my safety. I ordered the chicken shawarma and a Coke. She told me it's cheaper next door for the soda. I appreciated the honesty. After she started talking to me she turned out to be very polite.. it took about ten mines to get my food. The chicken shawarma was plentiful with good spices. The bits were tender. The salad was a little small but fresh. I opted for hummus instead of rice. The hummus was great but the pita bread was hard. Overall, the food was really good. It was slightly pricey . Service was good once they filled me in on the leak. I'd recommend Celia's if you are in the French Quarter and desire Mediterranean food.

After you get tired of shrimp and grits, Poboys, gumbo and étouffée try some fresh new flavors. The food was well seasoned and well prepared. None of the seafood or meat was overcooked. It was just right. The yellow rice and hummus are delicious. Seating and service was fast. In fact I'm surprised this place isn't more crowded. It would be a nice for groups. There is a natural gas smell when you first walk in that they should look into. The first night the hostess was friendly attentive and fast. However on 08/01 the beautiful long haired hostess took a while to warm up. She seemed distracted or annoyed at first. She was short tempered and seemed 2 when greeting 2 guests. They actually left about 10 minutes later due to the lack of attention they received. We knew the food was good and it was our last night in town so we decided to stay and hope things got better for us and it did. This place is definitely worth a try but needs to be aware that first impressions are a big deal so the host needs to make guests feel welcomed.
